Woven Label

Woven Label, commonly known as "weave tag". The pattern and color of the fabric label are mainly expressed by the weft yarn, and the resulting colors may vary due to the different effects of the intersecting warp yarns. Due to the limitations of the types of weft yarns used in general machines, the colors that can be expressed are also limited. Usually, there are restrictions on colors, with a normal base color and three colors. The design should not be overly complicated. Additionally, since it is embroidered with threads of different colors intertwined together, the color on the front side is usually the opposite of the color on the back side. For example, if the base color of your label is white and the text is pink, then on the back side, the base color will be pink and the text will be white.

Please note: Due to the transparency of the base color, the entire woven label may appear to be pink. If you mind this, please choose colors with less contrast for production.

Wash Label (Ribbon)

Wash Label (Ribbon) is divided into woven edge satin ribbon and non-woven edge satin ribbon. It is a label printed on a specific material (satin ribbon). The texture of the fabric label becomes soft and smooth due to the doubled warp yarns, but it is prone to color bleeding, so double-sided printing is not recommended. Similar to the woven label, the normal colors include a base color and three colors, with black and white satin ribbons being commonly used.

Wash Label (Composite)

Wash Label (Composite) refers to labels made of composite materials. It involves combining multiple materials and is generally divided into general-purpose labels and labels with specific requirements. You can choose the fluorescent agent content (bleached or unbleached, with some clients exporting to Japan specifically requesting low fluorescent agent content) as well as the printing color and thickness of the label.

Composite labels can also be chosen as tearable or non-tearable. Tearable labels can be torn open along the marked lines. There are relatively fewer restrictions on the printing colors of composite labels, but only medium thickness and above labels can be printed with multiple colors. The dimensions should be at least 1cm wide and 3cm long. It is not recommended to use medium thickness or above composite labels for infant products because the material is thicker and harder, making it prone to scratching.

    It is important to note that regardless of the type of care label chosen, the content requirements remain the same. The washing label should include company name, company logo, company address up to city, sample name, sample style number, production date up to month and recommended age group. These details help identify the product, provide necessary care instructions and ensure compliance with legal standards.

    For customers who choose to use the fixed templates provided, the care labels already contain the necessary information required to comply with US, European and UK standards. However, if a client decides not to use these templates, their account manager will inform them in advance of any additional information required to meet these criteria.

    Containing all necessary information and adhering to specified standards is critical to successfully passing the required tests and inspections. It is also important to ensure that the CE and UKCA markings on the care label are larger than 5mm. These marks indicate compliance with safety and quality standards set by the EU and UK respectively.
